Devil's Flower Mantis

I've made a 3D study of the Devil's flower Mantis (Idolomantis diabolica), one of the largest species of praying mantis and the largest that mimics flowers. I couldn't have made this without following Eric Keller's gnomon tutorial "Creature Modeling With ZBrush & Marmoset Toolbag" which taught me a lot about Zbrush and insect anatomy and it also reignited my passion for invertebrates. This is also the first time I used polypaint for most of the texturing, it was a very pleasant experience and will certainly do more of it in the future. I also would like to thank Mike-Amir El Frangi for continuing to support me in my journey as an artist.
